Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Outline why apprenticeship pathways in skilled trades lead to satisfying and fulfilling careers.
- Explain the importance of planning as part of the apprenticeship journey.
- Outline the apprenticeship training model in Ontario.
- Identify if a specific trade is compulsory or non-compulsory.
- Explain the purpose of the Red Seal Designation in Ontario.
- Identify certification requirements for a specific trade.
- Explain the difference between a Certificate of Apprenticeship, a Certification of Qualification, and a Provisional Certificate of Qualification.
- Identify potential challenges in completing apprenticeship training.

Assessment:
Minimum 80% score is required on the Final Assessment to receive Completion Certificate.
